Data privacy statement of MiNODES GmbH

MiNODES GmbH (“MiNODES” or “we”), as the operator of the MiNODES Dashboard Portal (“the Portal”), takes data protection very seriously. We therefore want to assure you that your privacy as a portal user is being protected. This data protection policy explains to you the way in which we deal with your personal data in conjunction with our Portal. We reserve the right to alter the contents of this data protection policy from time to time. It is therefore advisable to review the data protection policy at regular intervals.

1. General

2. Personal Data

Personal data is specific information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual, Section 3 (1) BDSG. This includes such information as your name, your postal address and e-mail address, or your telephone number.

3. Processing and usage of your data

3.1 We collect, process, and use the personal data imparted to us by you when registering on the Portal, and we do so as required in each case for the following purposes:

3.2. We also collect anonymous technical data, such as the names of your Internet provider, Internet browser, operating system, screen resolution, and information about the website that led you to us, the number and date/s of your visit/s, the average session length, and the websites visited within our Portal. This data is stored automatically. The evaluation is made in an anonymized form solely for statistical purposes, our goal being the continual improvement of our Portal and our services for you.

4. Transmission of Personal Data

MiNODES does not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have expressly given us your prior consent to do this or the transmission is prescribed or permitted by law. Your data will neither be sold to third parties nor marketed in any other way. Data is only transmitted to govern-ment institutions and public authorities if it is required by mandatory national law. Our employees and partners are bound by a duty of confidentiality and are obligated to comply with the provisions of data protection laws.

5. Cookies and Google Analytics

5.2 If you do not want cookies to be used, you can block the usage of them in your browser. But if you do so, you may not be able to use certain areas of our Portal.

5.3 MiNODES uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies (cf. Section 5.1). The information on your Portal use that is produced via the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if the IP anonymization is activated on our Portal, your IP address within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area will first be shortened by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google, under contract with MiNODES as the Portal operator, will use this information to evaluate your use of our Portal, to prepare reports on Portal activities, and to perform for MiNODES other services associated with the Portal and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted from your browser via Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies through a particular setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out to you that if you do so, you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions of our Portal. You can also prevent the collection of the data that is generated through the cookie and that relates to your use of our Portal (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:

5.4 MiNODES uses Mouseflow, a web analysis service of Mouseflow ApS, Flaesketorvet 68, 1711 Copenhagen, Denmark, to record randomly selected visits to our Portal (only with anonymized IP-address). Thus a protocol of mouse movements and clicks is generated with the aim to play back randomly chosen portal visits and further deduce potential improvements of our Portal. The information is not personalized and will not be transferred. If you decline the recording, feel free to de-activate it for all websites using Mouseflow at the following link:
