Inspired by this question, the MiNODES mission was shaped: to bring analytical online tools to the offline world and to help retailers to gain a deeper understanding of their in-store operations and consumer engagement. By providing trusted and insightful data on consumer behavior, MiNODES enables retailers to improve store operations as well as marketing management.

WHO WE ARE

Our founder started off his career in leading business consultancy OC&C.

He provides the perfect mix of expertise covering diverse segments of the retail industry and their specific demands. Backed by Telefónica NEXT, as well as a passionate team with experience from companies like Zalando, Goldman Sachs, Holtzbrinck Ventures, and the Otto Group, MiNODES has established itself as a leading data analytics and advertising tool for brick and mortar retailers, enabling them to conquer the omnichannel era.

Before founding MiNODES, Alexander Köth was partner and member of the management at Roelfs Partner Management Consultants and head of Roelfs’ retail practice group.

He worked with leading companies in various retail sectors and gained, through working across all topics in the value chain, a holistic view on retailers’ expectations and needs.

Alexander started his career in 2003 at OC & C Strategy Consultants and holds an MBA degree from EBS University, Germany.

Volker is the head of Sales & Marketing and is always looking out for exciting business areas. In this regard, he can rely on countless international experiences in various nations.

He was a Country Manager at the FinTech ClubCollect. For many years, Volker had been heading the the German branch of the Media Intelligence Company Meltwater where he gained a deep understanding of the digital media landscape. During his career, he was also responsible for Sales & Marketing at CEB, a company specialized in management and best practice research.

Volker holds a Master of Business Administration at the ESCP Europe and was also at the University of Oxford.

Nils is the managing director for Product, Development and Analytics. He is working relentlessly with his team on solutions that will help solving customer's issues and add value to their business.

To do so, he is leveraging his broad experience that ranges from product management over the definition and realization of market entry strategies to building strategic partnerships. Amongst others, he set-up and grew the Branded Sales Partnership business at Telefónica and has created the basis for the success of Amazon’s Kindle in Germany.

He holds a Diploma of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of Applied Sciences Munich.
